Me and my husband come from Ontario. We lived in the city with a small front and tiny backyard, but we weren't very happy with the way we were living. Our goal has always been to move to NB and start homesteading. We moved here, got a house in the country, and started to plan out our barn. We started by getting chickens the first year. It went really well, I enjoyed their company and the farm fresh eggs. But I remembered seeing ducks and rabbits at the show and they piqued my curiosity. As soon as a bunny was placed in my arms I was hooked. I researched everything I could think of when it came to rabbits on a homestead that year, and when summer came around I was ready to get some bunnies. Long story short, I had got 5 bunnies at the show and of course I fell in love with them. I learned about how they made amazing house pets, and within months I had transformed my house into a bunny paradise. I learned about proper rabbit care, and that they could even be litter trained!
Our Rabbits are treated very well. They get high quality pellets, unlimited hay, clean water at all times, and Fresh herbs, grass and greens (home grown as much as possible.) I give them access to toys, boxes, tunnels, and soft blankets daily. I always have an exercise/play area available.
